As you arrive at the Grandview Gardens B & B, it immediately feels like home away from home. The Spanish/ Mediterranean style home offers a sunny yellow exterior with fruit trees and plant life galore! We were greeted in the Entryway/Foyer by one of our hosts, Rick and were immediately impressed by the old Florida Charm that this home offered. It really took our breath away! Rick gave us a tour of the property and showed us to our room. Our room was furnished with a bottle of wine, fruit plate and a NICE bouquet of roses! What a fabulous touch for our anniversary. These guys really went above and beyond and were VERY attentive to detail! Our room, as with all of the rooms, featured:

We enjoyed the private access to our room. It was great to come and go as we pleased and not be worried about disturbing anyone. We walked to City Place and enjoyed a great dinner at Taverna Opa and also took in a movie! Had a great night and a lovely walk back.

At Breakfast, we met our other host Peter. We had a relaxing breakfast, made up from choices of cereals, yogurts, breads, jelly & butter, danishes, fruit bowls and eggs made to order with sausage or bacon. We also had the choice of 2 or 3 local newspapers or a choice from the extensive library. But really, you spend more time just looking around and taking in every last detail of this great older home!

Peter and  Rick will do everything possible to ensure a great stay at Grandview Gardens. They are also tour guides and are ready and willing to point you in the right direction or recommend sights to see. Bicycles are available to guests.

So, all in all, the Elegance of these accomodations were way beyond our expectations! We were able to destress and celebrate our anniversary AND create a memorable experience of a lifetime! We really felt like we were a million miles away from home.
