About Us

Hi, my name is Roger Davis. As a young man on vacation in California, a commercial diver friend of the family took me diving at the age of 11. Ever since that day, the dive bug hit me hard. After many years of enjoying the water, I finally became certified in Open Water Diving in Michigan, which gave me experience in cold water diving (nothing like chopping a hole in the ice to go diving!!) After a few years, we decided to pack up and move to California. I spent one entire year diving the magnificent Monterey Bay area with it’s beautiful kelp forests and large marine mammals. My son Daniel became certified at the age of 12 and joined in on our dives.

After an intense year of diving the kelp forests of California, we decided to try the reefs of South Florida. I found, what I believe to be the best diving in the US. Upon arriving in Florida, I found my niche in diving due to the warm water, beautiful reefs, great visibility and abundant sea-life. I knew that this was the place where I would spend many years of my life and continue my education. After a couple of years and up to 6 dives a day, I finally worked my way up to a certified Divemaster. To support my education, I did many commercial dives.

My dream was to one day own a dive shop. In September 2001, I finally realized this dream. We opened Wet Pleasures Dive Outfitters in Lantana, FL. I now hold the rating of I.A.N.T.D , SDI, TDI, REACT RIGHT, MDEA instructor.

We are a family run business and extend this invitation from our family to yours! Stop in or call anytime!! Either my wife Chantal or myself are always available to help you arrange the perfect dive trip.
